On a date I can't recall probably a week after our Gruene trip, we saw Billy Joe Shaver at Floore's in Helotes. We'd also been here plenty of times considering Laura lives down the street from there and we have self-respect and live in the area. It is a great place for live music, inside and out. The food is also very good. They are known for being white people who make great tamales, and being a cracker myself, I enjoy them quite a bit. They also have a full bar. This is where Willie Nelson got his start.
This is what Laura stumbled upon when she found me enjoying a meal and a beer with a high chair as a table before Billy Joe had gone on stage. (All the tables were full).
